THE ROAD BEYOND DREAMS

 The mellow blush of dawn

Filled the valley

The sun-clad hills and dales

Now lost its glory

Just like knights overthrown in battle

Disaster filled the atmosphere

and the cries of Rachel filled the air.

Freedom was their dream

Development was their aim

Down the valley rose a redeemer

Who removed veils from their eyes

Evil that men do, do prevail

From creation till judgement

More than dreams.

Upliftment aimed is better than dreams

Experience proved it too

And that was what the redeemer aimed

The strength he had, always proved him true

That the road goes beyond what one sees.
